We are pleased to announce that, against huge international competitive bidding, Regent Tanzania Ltd. were appointed in 2009 to run the Supply Base for the Gas Exploration out of Mtwara Port. Not only was this is a major step for our company, but it is also a great service to the Government of Tanzania.

After two years of running the Supply Base we have achieved a ZERO LTI record due to the importance we place upon health and safety.
Of interest, Regent has achieved proven savings in the first 3 well programme in excess of $52m, giving a great boost to the programme and as partners in the success in finding three large offshore discoveries we are jointly responsible for the expected huge developments to take place in the building of the proposed LNG trains. This single investment is expected to be over 9 times the annual revenue of the country.
